Many people use the word “caregiver” to describe anyone who gives help to an individual.. While this definition is a good start, not all caregivers are alike. Many have unique functions, usually depending upon their expertise and the needs of the person they assist. No, I am not part of an agency.. I am an independent contractor with skills, compassion, and an excellent referral source. Meaning,. If I am to booked I can refer you to others like me.. The services I put you in touch with is unmatched.

When you’re ready to hire in-home care, If I myself can't be booked I will help you to identify a compassionate caregiver by sending you my top picks, and their bio's. These trusted individuals will take the time to build a genuine relationship with you and your loved ones Just like I would.

Care Givers

As an independent contractor I help older adults continue to age at home safely and comfortably by performing essential caregiving duties to maintain or even enhance their quality of life. I can also provide the same services in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals.

Some of the senior care responsibilities include:

Emotional support and socialization

Depression and social isolation in seniors are very common, so concerned families can rely on the dedicated emotional support and socialization that I can offer to older adults.

As a caregiver I can also help provide extra social interaction for seniors who are unable to see their family members frequently., and I can serve as friendly acquaintances to go on walks with, talk about hobbies, do favorite activities like board games or card games, and provide a familiar and cheerful face.

Errands

I will ensure to-do lists are handled appropriately, especially if your loved one has difficulty remembering to pick up necessary medications on time or purchase food and personal care items regularly.

I will provide the level of assistance your loved one needs, whether it’s pushing a cart, mailing an envelope, picking items from hard-to-reach shelves, carrying bags, or running any requested errands (within my control).

ADL's

What are  ADLs ? "Activities of Daily Living"

ADLs are those skills required to manage one's basic physical needs, they include bathing or showering, dressing, getting in and out of bed or a chair, walking, using the toilet, and eating., med reminder etc.. I help with all ADL's your loved might need.

Around the clock care

I f need 24-Hour Care enables me or any other caregiver to respond quickly to any emergency or problem that requires immediate attention. With private care, there will always be around the clock private home care to ensure that clients get the attention they deserve.

Med Management

Clients can feel confident that their health matters to and will be addressed in a timely manner without sacrificing their normal daily routines. I care for my clients’ health and wellbeing and will make sure all meds and treatments are done accordingly to orders.

When it comes to providing care, communication, trust, and attention to detail, I am are here ! Even in the most busy, hectic environment, I am are very detail-oriented, making sure that any instructions are followed to the letter. In the home care setting, any caregiver should serve as the detail-oriented coordinator of your loved one. A good caregiver will be the first to notice subtle changes in a clients medical condition and alert you, or any other members of a their health care team to respond in ways that can avoid a serious adverse health event or unnecessary hospitalization. Similarly, I or anyone in on my team exercise excellent judgment and can think quickly to anticipate and address problems. “No two clients are ever the same, so a good caregiver is always solving problems and trying to individualize what is the best care for their client.” In doing so this helps to build trust, and we all know that without trust we can't build healthy relationships. I look forward in serving your needs.

Respectfully,

Bernice <3
